DIMITAR PETROV [ CEO & HEAD OF DESIGN&DEVELOPMENT ]
Dimitar is not just the founder of Studio Zmei – his workday is a roller-coaster of CEO appointments, Creative Director and Background and Layout team tasks. Life was easier back when he worked for Cartoon Network Studios Europe in London as a freelance background artist, but is sure wasn’t as dynamic and fun. The dream of creating an animated series, based on Balkan folklore and traditions, brought Dimitar back to Bulgaria, where he began work on The Golden Apple project, and later created Studio Zmei.
STANISLAV TSVETKOV [ HEAD OF ANIMATION ]
The Head of Animation at Studio Zmei – Stanislav brings to the table the magnificent creative talent of someone who spent 20+ years tirelessly working in the field of animation. Supervising the animation process and giving impeccable technical direction are just some of ways his valuable abilities are used in the Studio. He fell in love with animation thanks to a cartoon poster that hung on the wall of his childhood room, and when he grew up, he worked on the sequel to this very same movie.
As from 2020 Stanislav also became a partner in the studio board of owners, adding another layer of solid foundation to Studio Zmei for its future growth.
JANA MILOSHEVA [ HEAD OF COMMUNICATIONS&OPERATIONS ]
After 6 years of working as a freelancer, Jana recognized the ideas of Studio Zmei as her own and she brought her rich experience as a Communications and Events Specialist to the company.
Nowadays you can usually find her running circles around the management of the internal and public communications of the Sudio. Simply put – saying that the is unstoppable would be a huge understatement.
MOMCHIL STEPANOV [ VOICE TALENT CONSULTANT ]
Momchil is not only a talented artist, an amazing singer and an incredible voice actor, but he is also a partner in the board of owners of Studio Zmei.
Just like a real superhero, he perfectly balances his professional career as an actor and his life at home, where his beautiful wife and his lovely little daughter fill his days with joy and inspiration.
ALEKSANDRA MANOVA [ PRODUCER ]
The youngest addition to the Management team of Studio Zmei, Aleksandra is building up and managing our Production team. Her previous background in process organizing – both in foreign and in local lands – helps Aleksandra strike a balance between our clients’ demands and our artists’ skills.
Whenever she’s out of her production shoes, curly Aleks can be found adventuring with ski poles in hand or basking in the sun on an exotic island.
