A Tale of the world under

With the support of the National Culture Fund, Studio Zmei is producing the young adult novel "A Tale of the Underworld"—our first major project that does not involve animation. Written by Irena Parvanova and illustrated by Mira Miroslavova, the book tells the exciting story of 13-year-old Alex, who is facing an extremely boring summer vacation at his grandmother’s house in a village far, far away. Instead, he finds himself on the greatest adventure of his life alongside his newfound best friends—the twins Yana and Ana. This project by Studio Zmei was a huge success, as the book was very well accepted by the public and fans of our work. And our partnership with Ciela Publishing has enabled us to reach a wider audience in Bulgaria.
